High Needs Strategy Parent Meeting
Wednesday 3rd July 19 10am to 12pm (Refreshments from 9.30am)
First Step Building, Tangmere Crescent, Hornchurch, RM12 5PP
High needs funding is intended to provide the most appropriate support package for children and
young people with SEND in a range of settings, taking account of parental and student choice.
In 2017, Havering undertook a review of it’s provision and produced a 4 year strategy document.
The Local Authority are now carrying out a two-year review to consider how well they have achieved
the aims in the Strategy, what actions still need to be achieved and the next steps to address any
gaps.
A revised action plan will be issued Autumn 2019 and they would love to hear your views.
