Further Funding for Parent Forums

The Department for Education have confirmed they are continuing to fund parent carer forums, at the current levels, until the end of March 2020.

Minister for Children and Families Robert Goodwill has put forward £4.6 million to support the work between parent carer forums and local decision makers.

This is excellent news and shows an ongoing commitment to the aims of the Children and Families Act 2014 of embedding a culture of co-production across all local areas in England.  It also confirms that parent carer forums are valued and continue to be needed.
