Planning for the Future Wills and Trusts

Wednesday 16 December 10am to 11.15am  via zoom

Having an up to date Will in place goes some way to provide for your disabled or vulnerable loved one, however in some cases it has the potential to create further problems. If you or a family member are considering leaving money directly to a disabled or vulnerable person you can put them at considerable risk of financial abuse and you are likely to impact their entitlement to means tested benefits and social support.

Decision Making for Disabled and Vulnerable People

Wednesday 9 December 10.00am to 11.15am via Zoom.

If you are a parent or carer of a child or young person who may not be able to make decisions about their welfare and finances now or in the future, you will need to consider the best ways to protect them as they move to adulthood. Philip Warford, Lawyer and specialist in planning for the future of disabled and vulnerable people, will talk through who can make decisions on behalf of another person.
